Last-Minute Instagram Post Ideas

So sometimes it’s normal to get in a creative rut. Not fun, but normal. Speaking on terms of Instagram–you’re getting down to your last picture in your drafts and you’re feeling like you need to take a bunch of pictures to get ahead of the game. Well for that moment, I have a little “cheatsheet” for you.

What’s in your hand

Not only is this an opportunity to show off the item, whatever it may be–a purse, some sunglasses, a bouquet of flowers. It’s also an opportunity to show off your nails, maybe even some arm candy. Also, the background plays a big part in this as well.

Flowers

Speaking of flowers, you can never go wrong with them. So treat yourself to a bouquet or just find some outside, and you’re halfway to a beautiful picture.

Your shoes

I’m a big fan of this one, probably because I’m a big fan of new shoes, oops. Have fun with this and put your feet in the air to snap a fun shot–or stand in front of some flowers, because, again, you can never go wrong with those.

A cozy spot

Get comfy on your bed in your favorite pjs, throw some cozy blankets on, place your laptop or some aesthetically pleasing books in, and add your cup of coffee, and you’re good to go.

Favorites of the moment

This can be whatever you want it to be. Beauty items, jewelry items, books, just everything and anything you’re loving at the moment. The background can add so much to this, too–whether it’s plain colored or strategically placed on a pile of blankets. The options are endless.

What you’re eating

Food is never a bad idea, right? You may have to take a little extra time making it a bit more aesthetically pleasing, but it will be worth it.

What You’re Drinking

Lattes are never a bad idea, too, am I right?

Your Pet

Because you can never go wrong with a picture of a puppy.

Thanks for reading! Hope you’re feeling more inspired now!
