Happy 1st day of September! Fall is finally upon us, and you know what that means, fall fashion is totally acceptable (despite the fact that I live in Georgia where it stays hot well into October, but let’s just overlook that) Today, I’m super excited to be collaborating with my friend and fellow blogger, Marah, on a Fall Fashion post! She’ll be sharing tips on how to create a unique fall fashion style, so make sure to head to her post after this!
I have a confession y’all- I’ve kind of developed an unhealthy habit lately and have become super shoe-obsessed. But, on the bright side, I’ve found that I’ve been going for more basic tops and bottoms (which usually means less expensive) as a result of pretty much styling my outfits around my shoes.
Anyways, without further ado, here are my favorite shoes that I will for sure be wearing over and over this season!
I have been so obsessed with slide-on sandals all summer (i.e. birkenstocks, as a lot of people probably know), so naturally I’ve also become obsessed with slide-on flats for fall. These were kind of out of my comfort zone at first, because I usually go for neutral-colored shoes, but I was just really feeling this color and decided to be ‘spontaneous’.
I’ve had these for years, but I still love them. I love pointed toes as you can probably tell and anything lace up as you can also probably tell. I just love how these are so delicate and make me feel like a ballerina. They’re also the perfect shade of tan so it’s a win-win.
I’m pretty much in love with this pair and have been wearing them non-stop since I got them. First, they’re my fave color: light mauve pink. Second, they’re lace up. And third, I love the look of the espadrilles and how it just makes it more casual. So overall, a triple win.
I’ve also had these for a while, but they are still my go-to. They’re once again my favorite color (but with a bit of a shine) and are just so comfy to throw on. Also, they have a little platform to them, which I could always use since I’m only 5’4.
And last, but not least, your classic pair of ankle boots, the most fall shoes of them all. I prefer brown ones over black, because I feel like they’re slightly more casual and go with everything, so these definitely come in good use as well.
Hopefully, I gave you some inspiration for this season and got you in a festive fall spirit. I’d love to hear some of your favorite Fall fashion items in the comments! Also, don’t forget to check out Marah’s post on her fall style!
